    We were referred there by MASH in Ringwood as specialist care was required for our dachsund . They were waiting for us and have taken excellent care of our very sick girl. They have saved her life.The communication is excellent and plenty of aftercare. They kept us informed about costs every step of the way and helped us with gap only payments. Every single person we have dealt with has been fabulous & caring. I was getting a bit worried in the end that our girl might not want to come home after been treated like a queen for a week🤦‍♀️.Location is easy to get to by car or public transport.

    The team at CARE showed professionalism as well as compassion and empathy during our difficult time. Our 3 year old dog, Gus, was referred to CARE following a blood test that revealed very high levels of inflammation and white blood cells in his urine. He was experiencing joint pain, shifting lameness and a small lump had suddenly appeared near his shoulder. All the vets who treated Gus listened carefully to our feedback about his recent change in demeanour and behaviour and were very thorough in determining the cause of the issue, which was sadly an inoperable and untreatable osteosarcoma. The team at CARE provided a comprehensive handover to the vets at Advanced Vetcare - Kensington when we sought a second opinion from their specialist surgical and oncology team. Gus stayed at CARE for 5 days and the team provided regular communication and supported us through the difficult journey to this unexpected diagnosis. The Gap Only payment system removed the additional stress of a significant financial burden as we were able to claim immediately from Everyday Pet Insurance. We also appreciated the personal touch of the sympathy card we received in the mail this week to honour Gus's death. We were very grateful that we could bring Gus home for his final day and that he was able to pass away in his home, with the assistance of a home visit from a vet from Goodbye Good Boy, surrounded by his family and toys. The team at CARE did everything they could to care for our beloved boy in his time of need. RIP Gus, you have left a pawprint on our hearts.

    Amazing care was taken with my dog! She was looked after so well, and I received regular updates over the phone, along with some photos, which reassured me about the excellent standard of care she received. Thanks to the team’s dedication, she has made a full recovery, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of where to take her. Thank you!

    I have never left a review before as I’ve never felt so much towards to business that Ive needed too. One star is too good for this place. This place is evil, please don’t take your baby here if you have an emergency. On Sunday i had noticed my sweet boy being quite lethargic, having problems peeing, not drinking or eating and having thrown up. We got him the next available vet appointment that was going to be on Tuesday and in the early hours of Tuesday around midnight he seemed in a lot of pain and was lethargic. I drove him here, when arriving they told me he needed a catheter surgery as he had a blocked bladder which would cost $3500 I explained that I only had $700 in my account and I would be more than willing to pay more when I get paid my when my partner was paid as well and I would put that down as a deposit. They agreed and said they would do a payment plan, took the $700 and said to go home and they’ll run some blood tests and call us to see if other things needed to be done. I signed the contract and anxiously left. While driving home they called and said that he had high Potassium levels in his blood and that the surgery would been $4500-5000 and also told me that they won’t be doing the payment plan which they agreed to in the first place and I can’t reiterate this enough TOOK THE MONEY FOR, and that I would need to come back they also told me that they called other Vets in the area that said they would be the same price and wouldn’t do payment plan options. We couldn’t take him anywhere else as they had taken every penny I had in my account and if they were to refund me it would take 3-5 business days to get into my account. They offered to empty his bladder and that I could take him to another vet in the morning which I couldn’t as they had every single cent I had. They backed us into a corner. They then offered Euthanasia to which I was firmly against, I called people at 2-3am, applied for VetPay, Afterpay, Payday loans to which were all up didn’t amount to the full cost. We had no other choice but to Euthanise our little guy. He was only 2. I am so angry, I lost my best friend, my partner and I’s baby. This place only cares about money, they have no duty of care over your beloved pets, my sweet boys life shouldn’t have come down to the fact my partner and I couldn’t pull $5000 out of nowhere and false promises. I have filed a report with Vetboard Victoria and hopefully they step in. Rest in peace my beautiful Pelle 🕊️
