Great off leash area for dogs who like the beach. Gorgeous view of the city skyline too. Needs a public toilet next to it.
Sand needs a good clean up. Many plastic bags, cups, bottles and cigarettes scattered on the beach.
Was great with the dogs the sand and sea is nice too but the main problem is these RANDOM surfers js coming right up close to u and ur pets. Absolutely scared my dog to bark for a good 15 mins. Must get better management for surfers and dogs. No dogs could swim when they were surfing because it frightened them so much. Horrible
Wow, this place is amazing. So much fenced in, dog friendly space with hills, flat areas, and lots of shallow water to play in. Perfect for dogs and humans alike to relax and play.
Took my 1 year old Labrador their for her first trip to the beach and we both had a ball. Lots of other people and dogs there to play with, but still enough space to be by yourself if you wanted.
Can't wait to visit again.
Good to see lots of happy dogs socialising and running on the beach and wading through the shallow water. Most of the owners do pick up after their pets. However, do watch where you step as there are some owners who leave their doggy poo for others to pick or step on.
Great beach to bring your dog for a play around with other dogs, they all splash about and get along well. Bins, water, doggy bags are provided to the public. A water hose station with drainage would be handy to rinse off your dog before leaving.
Parking is scarce, there is no designated area to park. Most streets are permit parking, I came during the week and still a reasonable amount of dogs on the beach.
